Writing Skills Details:

Our Writing Skills lessons focus on building children's confidence when writing and communicating in English. With a focus on creative writing, we teach children a range of skills, language and vocabulary, to help children express themselves in English. The content we cover is adapted from some of our main courses, but offered at a discounted rate for home educated students and those living overseas.

OPTION A: AUTUMN TERM 2026
Time: Thursdays 9.30-10.30am
Dates: 17th September, 24th September, 1st October, 8th October, 15th October, 22nd October, 5th November, 12th November, 19th November, 26th November, 3rd December, 10th December
NB: There is no lesson on 29th October due to half term.

Course: Desert Island Discovery (2026) / Fabulous Feelings / Cracking Comprehension (2027) 

OPTION B: SPRING TERM 2027
Time: Thursdays 9.30-10.30am
Dates: 7th January, 14th January, 21st January, 28th January, 4th February, 11th February, 18th February, 25th February, 4th March, 11th March, 18th March, 25th March
NB: There is no break for half term for this course.

OPTION C: SUMMER TERM 2027
Time: Thursdays 9.30-10.30am
Dates: 22nd April, 29th April, 6th May, 13th May, 20th May, 27th May, 10th June, 17th June, 24th June, 1st July, 8th July, 15th July
NB: There is no lesson on 3rd June due to half term.

General Details:

• The online classes are led by a highly experienced teacher.
• £16 per hour (£192 for the 12 week block). All course prices are inclusive of VAT. If you are based outside of the UK, the course price (without VAT) will be updated at checkout but you may be subject to additional bank charges, which are determined by your financial institution.
• Homework is marked and pre-recorded videos of the lessons are available.
• Please choose to pay via PayPal at the checkout if you would like to pay in instalments.
• Once booked, places are non-refundable as stated in our Terms and Conditions.
• The tutors running our courses are qualified teachers with exemplary references. All tutors hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate and are signed up to the Update Service.
