11+ Maths Webinar for Tutors

This 45 minute webinar will provide tutors with practical guidance and advice on how they can best prepare their students for the 11+ maths exam. This includes preparation for grammar and independent schools. 

When adequate preparation and time is given to prepare children for the 11+ maths exam, children will feel more equipped to tackle the different areas of the exam with positivity and confidence.

• Helping tutors to consider how to structure their lessons to ensure all areas of the 11+ maths exam can be covered as well as detailing how they can prepare for that first lesson.
• Exploring ways in which tutors can make their lessons fun and engaging so that children enjoy the process of 11+ maths exam preparation.
• Showing tutors how they can support struggling students and ensuring children remain positive during their preparation.

• 11+ Independent and Grammar Schools List: An Excel spreadsheet listing over 200 independent and grammar schools in the UK and where available, listing the exam format and examining board, together with links to past papers and familiarisation booklets. As schools change their examination process year upon year, this spreadsheet is a working document and recipients are encouraged to download, edit and amend it when changes occur and to suit their needs. 
• Quiz: A quiz to check tutors understanding of the webinar topic.
• Support from a live tutor to answer any questions you might have.
