Tutor Referral Agency
Bright Light Education runs a friendly and effective Tutor Referral Agency in which Bright Light Education acts as agents on behalf of the tutor and introduces the tutor to the client. All tutors are self-employed.
If you are keen to speak to one of the tutors, we would pass on their details to you and you would speak to them directly to see if you are able to work something out. Lessons are between £45-£95/hr for 1:1 tutoring.
Bright Light Education is a Corporate Member of The Tutors’ Association. Becoming a member of The Tutors’ Association signifies a commitment to the profession, and to upholding the highest standards of safeguarding, professional practice and ethical behaviour.

Why Choose a Tutor?
Qualified Teachers
Tutors are qualified teachers with at least 2 years’ teaching experience.
Enhanced DBS Certificates
Tutors hold Enhanced DBS and are signed up to the Update Service.
Direct Communication
All scheduling of sessions is done directly between client and tutor.
Online or Face-to-Face
Depending on location, tutoring can be online or face-to-face.
No Commitment
There is no obligation to commit for a set period of time, allowing flexibility for the client.
We’re working with Atom Learning! We are proud to be working with Atom Learning through the use of Atom Enterprise within our Tutor Referral Agency. Atom Enterprise is an online platform for tuition agencies which is used to set practice and measure progress. The tutors who we work with can choose to use Atom Enterprise with their students. Tutors have access to 90,000+ questions which they can use within lessons and to set for homework. Atom Enterprise supports Key Stage 2 children (year 3-6), including aiding children with 11+ preparation.

Search for and request a tutor below. The hourly Lesson Price is stated at the top of each tutor’s profile. Note that the Lesson Price includes the tutor’s Hourly Rate together with our Introduction Fee (inclusive of VAT), as outlined in our Terms and Conditions. Tutors may choose to amend the price and they will discuss this with you directly if applicable. All scheduling of sessions is done through the tutor. There are no other charges and there is no obligation to commit for a set period of time. You can also email us directly.
