11+ Interview Preparation and Mock Interview Details:

The interview preparation session uses our 11+ Interview Practice Skills Book. This must be purchased before the session.

The session starts with some confidence boosting activities, aimed at encouraging the student to think about their own qualities and what makes them special. We will try to nurture a growth mindset so that the student feels enthusiastic about participating in an interview and excited to share their knowledge, experiences and ideas with their interviewer.

Next, we will focus on reading and responding to a range of interview questions. Topics include:
- You and your family (including personal achievements); 
- You and your school (including school based activities and achievements);
- The school to which you are applying;
- Responding to unusual questions on the spot;
- Responding to moral, ethical and dilemma based questions;
- Science and maths based questions;
- Describing an image;
- Reading a poem/passage;
- Current affairs

The student will then have a short break, before starting their 20 minute mock interview. After the interview, written detailed feedback will be sent via email.

• The Interview Preparation session is 1:5 hours and is an edited version of our 3 hour Interview Preparation Course.
• The interview is 20 minutes.
• It is on a 1:1 basis.
• The session is led by a highly experienced teacher.
• It takes place online.
• Fully interactive.
• £150. All course prices are inclusive of VAT. If you are based outside of the UK, the price (without VAT) will be updated at checkout but you may be subject to additional bank charges, which are determined by your financial institution.
• Once booked, places are non-refundable as stated in our Terms and Conditions.
• We engage with self-employed tutors to run our courses on behalf of our business. The tutors running our courses are qualified teachers with exemplary references. All tutors hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate and are signed up to the Update Service.
• Once purchased, you will receive the tutor's contact details so that you can book this session directly with the tutor at a time which suits you.
