Creative Writing Competition Winners 2023

We are thrilled to announce the winners of our 4th annual Creative Writing Competition for children! 

Group 1 Gold 1st Place Winner:

Group 2 Gold 1st Place Winner:

Group 3 Gold 1st Place Winner:

Huge congratulations to Daisy for creating the wonderful poem, “The Rollercoaster of Emotion”.

Thank you so much to Kamapala Chukwuka for judging the competition and for reading out the winning entries!

 Kamapala writes culturally diverse books that add variety to the world of children’s literature. Her books encourage children to be accepting and respect other people’s cultures. They also promote moral values of kindness, love for others, patience, confidence, empathy and compassion. Kamapala has released three books. Mummy’s Love for you will always be! was her first book, released in 2018. Ama’s Gift was her second book, released in 2021. Her latest book, Kind Obi  was released in 2022. Kind Obi is described as a sweet and encouraging story about a boy with a unique gift of caring for others. It’s a book that serves as a guide to show children how to be kinder, accept diversity and be inclusive of other peoples’ cultures.
